Code Club - by Daisy O'Hare
When school started again after Easter I had a few things I was really looking forward to and one of those things was coding club because I find it extremely fun, though there is a lot of trial and error involved.
To my surprise when I went back to coding club, thinking we would just be using scratch, we were told that we would be programming Micro Bits using a different coding language called BLOCKS.
I was partners with Katie O’Hare, we have been friends for years but I didn’t know she was coming to coding club at all, I only found out literally right before the club started.
After the explanation of how to use micro bits we were given a guide to follow. Katie and I didn’t follow the guide, we just experimented. We soon got the hang of the basics and hopefully we will start using more advanced coding next week.
All in all it was really fun working with Micro Bits, I would definitely do it again. If I could code at home I would but at them moment we don’t have a computer for the entire family to use freely. By Daisy O’Hare
