P7 Manchester Trip

22nd Jun 2017

P7 classes enjoyed a wonderful few days in Manchester this year.  Here is what some of the pupils had to say:

On Monday 12th of June 2017 the P7’s left Enniskillen and travelled by bus and boat to Manchester. We were so excited when we arrived at the port in Dublin and when we arrived at the Mercure Hotel in Manchester. We were given our room keys and enjoyed some hot snacks. It was a long day travelling and time for bed.

On the second day we went to the Chill Factore, Old Trafford and the cinema. The Chill Factore was an experience we will never forget. We loved the slides because they were so fast and we also got the opportunity to try actual skiing with the proper gear. Next we went to Old Trafford, it was much bigger than we had anticipated. It was very interesting to learn about the history of Man United! Later that night we went to the cinema to see ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.

On our second day we went to Alton Towers. It was deadly! We would definitely go back! The rides there are so fast and really scary. They definitely give us a thrill. That night we went to play ten pin bowling. It was all over in a flash and we wish we could do it all over again. We loved every minute of it!
