World Book Day
World Book Day was celebrated in a variety of ways at Holy Trinity this year.
On KS1 the children made a picture or a wooden spoon character from their favouite book. On KS2 the children made a cereal box or pringles tin story box of their favourite book or book character. There were lots of very imaginative designs, well done to all the children who took part in the fun.
Our P7 classes walked to the Mill Street site where they read to the P1 children in the hall. The children love this opportunity to spend time together.
P2 classes had a very busy day for World Book Day. The classes did a CoreNI World Book Day workout in the morning and in the afternoon they had a teacher swap where the teachers swapped classrooms, read stories and chatted about the amazing creations the children had made for World Book Day.
