Theo from P2 decided he would do a cycle to raise some money for charity after seeing Captain Tom Moore do his fundraising walk for the NHS. In total he raised £1842.11 after completing his 10 mile cycle. With the help of his mum he decided that he would split the money raised between the Children’s ward in the hospital and the Millverne Care Home.
For the children's ward he bought a PlayStation 4 and a Nintendo switch, as well as a number of games and accessories for both. He also bought DVD’s, a party bees £100 voucher, a coffee machine and lots of treats for the staff. Of course the ward staff were delighted with it all and very thankful.
The money raised for the Millverne Care Home is going to be used to decorate the residents garden as well as buy some new garden furniture, plants and flowers. Theo bought a coffee machine and some treats also for the residents and staff.
