Mrs Williams organised a superb fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support again this year. Staff baked and faked (bought) buns, cakes, pies and biscuits. For a donation everyone enjoyed coffee, tea and cakes galore. Most people managed to take something home as well.
Coffee was followed by the 'Bake Off' competition results. The 'Bake Off' was judged by Mr Starrs and Mrs O'Connor who spent a long time tasting and discussing the cakes. Congratulations to our winners, Mr Treacy, Ita and Anne.
A delighted Mrs Clarke won the 'Guess the dots on the cake' competition.
Overall it was a brilliant coffee morning. Thank you to the generous staff for baking, faking and shopping this morning. Thank you also to everyone who helped set up for the coffee morning and who tidied up afterwards, washed dishes and returned the hall and staff room back to normal. Finally, thank you to Mrs Williams for organising our fundraising event.
