School Gardening in full swing

The polytunnels on both site have now been planted out by the children with a range of fruits and vegetables being grown. The primary four classes along have planted lettuce, tomatoes, sweetcorn, chillis, turnips, cauliflower, carrots and strawberry plants on the Mill Street site poly tunnel while, a number of classes are looking after a similar range od fruits and vegetables in the polytunnel on the Cornagrade site. Everyone is looking forward to the “Fruits of their labours” over the coming months.
