Children and staff accross the school went for their mile walk today wearing something festive to celebrate the start of December. The children are all very excited now that its December and adding a Santa hat, some tinsel or Christmas boppers has helped them begin their festive journey towards Christmas.🎅🎄🤶
Mr Treacy and Deacon Martin took our first Advent assembly today, December 1st. The whole school joined the 9:30am Advent Teams meeting. Deacon Martin talked to the children about the story of the advent wreath. He lit the first candle, the prophecy candle, for Hope. The prophets fortold that Jesus would come into the world bringing hope.
