The children in the pre-school visited St Angelo's airport on Friday 26th Feb to connect with themes of people who help us. The children visited the tower with Noel and got to check out some of the equipment. They found out how they help the pilots land the plane.
The children then visited the fire station where firemen Damien and Cilllian showed them all the equipment. They also got to try some of the firemen's uniform hats and got to sit in the fire engine.
The children then went to the Aircraft hanger to see and sit in a real aeroplane. The children really enjoy this as some of the them had never been in an aeroplane before. While at the aircraft hanger a helicopter landed right beside them, the children loved this especially when the pilot waved to them.
The pre school children learned alot about how these people really help us.
