P7 Soccer Tournament
15th May 2017
On 12th May Holy Trinity P7 Soccer team took part in the Greg Turley memorial Soccer Tournament at the Integrated College. We played six group games and remained undefeated; winning four and drawing two. We qualified for the semi-finals, playing Jones Memorial. We won 2-1 after coming back from 1-0 down. We then played in the final, which we unfortunately lost. We went 2-0 down but Patrick Regan scored an amazing goal; a superb volley from just in front of the halfway line. The whistle blew about ten seconds later. The match ended and we got second place medals. Then they revealed player of the tournament which went to Aabin, our goalkeeper. The winners were a very good St. Paul’s team.
