P7 learn about Picasso

In P7, the pupils have enjoyed learning about Pablo Picasso. They have completed some beautiful Picasso style artwork and have learnt some great facts about him. Here are a few of the facts they have learnt:

• Pablo Picasso was born on 25th October 1881 in the city of Malaga, Spain.
• He wanted to do art all his life and attended the Fine Arts in Barcelona in 1897.
• His father used was also an Artist but when Pablo became so good his father stopped art.
• Pablo Picasso’s art is displayed all over the world in museums and books!
• His art is unique and unusual, his paintings are half and half, one half looks like the person the other half looked completely different. That’s what makes his work unique.
• Pablo Picasso passed away on April 8,1973.
