Over the weekend (10th -12th March) Holy Trinity pupils Rebecca (P3), Lilly-Kate and Lucia (P5), Grace (P7) and I, took part in the Irish All Stars Cheer and Dance Nationals 2017. We were all representing the Jets.
The competition took place in Co. Mayo at Breaffy Woods Hotel in the International Sports Arena. There were teams from all of Ireland taking part; there were teams from Galway, Dublin, Omagh and Fermanagh.
We won some second places, some fifth places and some seventh places for our team. I was the third eldest group to compete.
I performed a dance trio with my friends Mia and Amy. It was a dance trio with no gymnastics in it. We won a FIRST PLACE TROPHY for our routine! I felt really excited and happy about this result.
Overall, I had a wonderful weekend. by Emma P5
