Ms Devine’s and Mrs O'Connor’s classes put on a wonderful Christmas Show for their parents and families at Cornagrade today.
Ms Devine class performing ‘The Nativity’ was the first part of the Show. The children sang a number of solo and group pieces beautifully; they spoke their lines clearly and came across confidently. They put on a wonderful, well-rehearsed and enjoyable performance which the parents and staff thoroughly enjoyed. There was great applause from the audience at the end. Well done to the children for their super nativity play and well done to the staff for putting together such a great play.
Mrs O’Connor’s class then gave a beautiful Christmas Assembly. This was a was a peaceful and calming performance by the children. The scene was set with low lighting and candles. There were beautiful solo pieces from some of the children along with group pieces and Christmas prayers of good wishes. The audience were left with a real sense of peace and of the spirit of Christmas.
These two performances were very well received by the audiences of parents and staff. Well done to everyone involved in their preparation and delivery. Holy Trinity is lucky to have such wonderful talent among both Pupils and Staff.
