Today Mrs O'Connor's class performed their 'Christmas Assembly' for a packed audience in the hall at our Cornagrade site. The children have been learning their lines and practicing their songs over the past few weeks. This children's parents and the KS2 classes (Teachers, Assistants and Pupils) filled the hall.
All the practice paid off as each child spoke their lines clearly and beautifully. Their singing was excellent and the jokes had everyone in the hall laughing. Mrs O'Connor and Denise also played their part to entertain the audience.
Siobhan ended the assembly with a solo of 'We are the world' and everyone in the hall joined in for each chorus.
Congratulations to Tiernan, Che, Siobhan, Patrick and Samual on a wonderful Christmas Assembly and for sharing with us the true meaning of Christmas and its importance at this time of year.
