Mrs Morris's class had the most beautiful morning out at Lisnaskea on Thursday when they went to Holy Cross Church to see St Bernadette's relic.
In the morning, in class, they talked about St Bernadette and St Bernadette's relic. They then tuned in to the Holy Cross Church webcam and joined the rosary which was taking place after Mass. Afterwards, they travelled by bus to Holy Cross church in Lisnaskea. James came over and chatted to the children about St Bernadette's life. Everyone then lined up and, in turn, visited the relic in its beautiful display case at the front of the church.
The children really loved seeing the relic. They were very well behaved and were so respectful in the church. Afterwards, Father Jimmy came over to chat and have fun with the children. It was a lovely visit.
