P5 classes enjoyed their guided tour of Enniskillen visiting places associated with WW1.
7th Jun 2021
P5 classes went on a tour around Enniskillen to see many of the places associated with WW1. Julian from the Enniskillen Museum led the tour. They visited the war memorial where they were able to see the names of soldiers who had died in the war; they went to the town hall to see the statues of the two soldiers. They also visited the oldest post-box in Enniskillen as well as Blakes of the Hollow. They also stopped at the library which used to be the back streets.
The children really enjoyed the tour and learnt lots of interesting facts about Enniskillen in the past. Thank you Julian for a very informative day out.
