Manchester Trip 2016
On the 13th June the P7s went to Manchester for their end of year trip. The first day was spent travelling. The bus journey was good fun and we sang many songs. The boat was great as well because we got to go outside and to the shop. After the boat we had another long journey to the hotel and when we got there we were tired. We were all excited thinking of the ‘Chill Factore’ the next day.
On Tuesday, we got up had breakfast and headed out to the ‘Chill Factore’. We got to go on rubber rings down slides made out of snow and ice. We went on a luge made out of ice and raced each other down a slope on a ‘car booster
For the second session we went skiing. It was quite difficult at first to get used to the skis but after a while you got used to it. We went down mini slopes and had to do things like move your feet as if you were running and jump while going down the slope.
Later, we went to the Sea Life Aquarium in the Trafford Centre. We saw lots of tropical fish and sharks. In some tanks, you could literally go in them, in some the tank was above your head.
We got a little bit of time to go shopping which was great. Later, after dinner, we went to see “Alice Through the Looking Glass” in the cinema. It was really good.
On Wednesday, we went to Alton Towers! It was a long journey but it was totally worth it. All the rides were great but I didn’t go on Nemesis and The Smiler. My favourite ride was Oblivion. I loved the part when you dropped into the hole. In the evening we went bowling which was great fun.
On Thursday we went to Old Trafford. It was really good and we got to see inside the team dressing room. The journey home was really long but I was really glad to see my family and be back on Irish land.
