KS2 Sports Day 2017
KS2 classes enjoyed a wonderful sports day with sprint races, long distant races, long jump, three legged races, egg and spoon races and lots more. Even the teachers got involved and there was a really competitive Tug-O-War. Well done to everyone for taking part, we hope you enjoyed yourselves. Congratulations on the organisers, Mr Reihill and all the staff who helped ran the whole event so smoothly.
Here's what some of our pupils had to say:
Sports week in KS2 was lots of fun. We took part in a lot of new events like the Javelin, shot putt, standing high jump and speed jumps. We walked to Brewster park on Friday for all the running races. We competed in a tug of war competition against the other Year 5 classes. After all the races we got burgers and hot dogs. My favourite part of all sports was competing in the sprint. Ronan Morris (Mrs Kelly P5)
Last Friday Mr Reihill arranged for us to go to Brewster Park for Sports day. It was a great sunny day for us all. I competed in the middle, long distance running races and the relay race. It was really exciting. I won two medals altogether – a silver and a bronze. I was very proud of myself. James Kelly (Mrs Kelly P5)
