Keira is successsful at the Swim Ulster’s Primary Schools’ Championship swimming competition in Bangor.
Keira, from Mr Devlin's P6 class, represented Holy Trinity PS at Swim Ulster’s Primary Schools’ Championship swimming competition at the Bangor Aurora Complex on Saturday 8th October. She was delighted to qualify for 50m Breaststroke finals, touching the wall in 3rd place and picking up a 3.62 second PB along with her bronze medal. She followed that with another qualification for the finals, 50m Butterfly this time. Keira took a whopping 17 seconds off her PB placing her 5th in the 10 year old section.
Keira’s performance in the 50m Breaststroke qualifies her to compete in the Irish Minor Schools Championships at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin in March 2023. She will represent Holy Trinity PS at the competition.
