Holy Trinity Swimmers lead the way at Swim Ulster Schools Championship
Swim Ulster’s Primary Schools Championship was held in the Lagan Valley Leisureplex, Lisburn on Saturday 1st March. Excited for this opportunity to represent their school, a fabulous squad of seven Holy Trinity swimmers competed, determined to do Holy Trinity proud and qualify for the All-Ireland Championships held in Dublin at the end of March.
Our super squad produced 5 podium finishes for Holy Trinity and numerous qualifications for the All-Ireland Primary Schools Championship to be held at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin at the end of March.

She followed up with another new PB in the 50m Butterfly, landing her on the podium again winning a silver medal. She has qualified to compete at the National Championships in Dublin in both events.

The Female 9-10 200m Medley and Freestyle Relays were the last events of the session, and they were certainly worth the wait. The Holy Trinity relay team, consisting of Emily, Ella-Rose, Mollie Kate, and Elin claimed gold in the Medley Relay winning convincingly by nearly 10 seconds. They followed this up with a silver medal in the Freestyle Relay. The girls are thrilled to be representing Holy Trinity Primary School at the Irish Minor Schools Championships in Dublin on March 30th
We also express our grateful thanks to all the parent volunteers who took on a variety of roles to support our team at the weekend.
