Holy Trinity Swimmers lead the way at National Competition
The Irish Minor Schools Championships 2024 took place on Sunday 24th March at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin. Three Holy Trinity swimmers qualified back in October at the regional schools gala in Bangor and were high with excitement as they headed off to Dublin to do their school proud on the National stage.
Mollie Kate, P5, swam a 4.7 second PB in the 50m Backstroke to secure a silver medal. She then claimed another silver podium spot in the 50m Butterfly event with a 3 second PB.
Joseph, P5, hit the wall with a whopping 8 seconds off his 50m Breaststroke PB, collecting a silver medal.
Keira, P7, won a place in the 50m Breaststroke final with a new PB bringing her to 9th place in the National ranking. She also picked up a 4 second PB in the 100m Individual Medley race.
