Holy Trinity held their Summer Concert on Thursday 1st June. Parents and carers were invited, it was great to see the hall at our Derrin Road site full.
First up was our Junior Choir who sang two lovely songs, both led by Mrs Kirke. Next Simon O'Hare introduced the Brass and Wind Band. 🎺 He talked about how well the band have progressed in the two years they have been learning their instruments. Mr O'Hare led the band while they played three pieces. This was followed by the String Band🎻, again led my Mr O'Hare as they played. Finally our Senior Choir sang a number of songs led by Mrs Kirke.
Mrs Kirke has coached both choirs throughout the school year. She is delighted with how well the children have progressed and is very proud of their achievements this year. Our school is also very proud of both choirs and of our bands, they have made some great progress this year taking part in the Feis and playing at events such as our school mass, Confirmation and Holy Communion.
Thank you to our music teachers Mrs Kirke, Mr O'Hare, Mr Guy and Ms McCutcheon for their work throughout the year and for ensuring the children were all well rehearsed for the show. Thank you to Miss Murray for organising the concert for our school. We hope our parents/carers in attendance enjoyed the concert.
