To celebrate the new school year Holy Trinity pupils and staff went to St Michaels for our school mass. It is always lovely to have the whole school together for this special occassion.
Monsignor O'Reilly led the mass with help from Father Raymond and Deacon Martin. Monsignor O'Reilly talked to the children about the importance of being kind, of growing and of connecting with others.
Our senior and junior school choirs, led by Mrs Grainne Kirke, sang some beautiful hymns. The choirs have been practicing for the mass over the past few weeks.
Pupils from P5, P6 and P7 did readings and said prayers of the faithful. Some of our KS1 pupils brought up the offertory gifts.
Thank you to the parents/carers and those members of our school community who joined us for this special mass. It was lovely to have you join us for this special occassion.
