Holy Trinity celebrate Children's Mental Health Week
For Children's Mental Health Week classes have taken part in some lovely activities throughout the week.
In association with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council our school are providing a selection of fruit for the children each day. These will be available over two school weeks.
On Monday, in KS1, classes focused on Healthy Me activities. This included having conversations and activities around what makes us happy and healthy, playing fun games together as well outside and inside play.
Tuesday was Safer Internet Day, classes competed age appropriate activities and had conversations around safe use of the internet, keeping safe on line and how much internet was too much.
On Thursday some classes took part in a singing workshop and on Friday some of our P6 classes took part in a 'Healthy Me' Gaelic football competition at the Forum.
There were other activities taking place in classrooms and playgrounds through the week. Our P6 children decorated stones and added positive, inspirational messages. They then placed the stones around the school. The children hope their stones will give some joy around our school. In P7 children enjoyed playing card games and board games as part of their math's work. Mr McBrien's class also played board games together.
Its been a great week for the children, we hope they enjoyed it.
