There was a hive of activity at St. Michael’s playing fields on Wednesday 20th January for round 3 of the Flahavan’s Porridge Cross Country. This highly anticipated event was the first outing for Holy Trinity Athletics Club. It is very promising to see schools in the locality participating in this event, as there is a wealth of talent in Fermanagh.
Amongst the enthusiastic athletes were 22 Holy Trinity children who completed the 1300m course with determination, proving that their effort and motivation at training is certainly paying off. We are very proud of Shannon Clawson, who represented Holy Trinity with a podium position of third place. Results on this event can be found on http://www.athleticsni.org/Results
The Athletics Club thoroughly enjoyed participating in this competition and we are looking forward to celebrating further success at upcoming running events in the near future.
