Caithlan from Mr Starrs' P7 class was invited to speak about her experience working on the 'The Backstreets of Enniskillen' archaeological dig in Enniskillen.
Caithlan initially went on the dig with her class while on a trip from school. The experience really interested her so she went again to help out the following weekend. Catherine Scott who works at the Enniskillen Museum invited Caithlan to speak about her experiences at a talk about 'The Backstreets of Enniskillen' dig. Caithlan spoke about her discoveries and about how much she enjoyed the experience of working on the dig.
Caithlin wrote about her archaeological experience: 'I recently spoke at the museum about my experience of the archaeological dig after I found some fascinating things. I was a bit nervous at first to get up and speak but I did it and I was proud of myself. At the event I heard a lot of interesting information about where members of my family were born and grew up. I’d love to find out more about the backstreets and archaeology of Enniskillen'
