Mrs Farley's, Mrs Kelly's and Mrs Gormley's P5s recently enjoyed a fun day out in March at the Lakeland Forum to celebrate and explore lots of great local sports. It was organised by Sport NI, on behalf of the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure.
The Forum was a hive of activity, indoor and out, with thousands of children from all the local schools taking part.
There was a huge variety of indoor and outdoor activities - from reaching the top of the Climbing Wall to practising our golf swing ( ...with Carla and Paula McCool's dad! Thanks for the tips... We even got a few in!!), to soccer, having a go at hurling/camogie. Their was also Archery, Jujitsu, Wrestling, Fencing and lots, lots more. It was such a fun day out for all!!
